Tadej Pogacar signed with UAE for 2018 and 2019, he stays at CT level this year however.

If he's staying at CT this year, surely he's only signed for 2019. Or, is he gonna join them as a stagiare-with-contract-secured from August?

I was really confused there! I mean, I've heard about some weird contract clauses, but that would really have taken the bill.

A year ago there was a big argument here about whether surprise at him getting a WT contract after a couple of unremarkable years at PCT level reflected anglophone chauvinism. I remember arguing that the current Brajkovic would make a perfectly decent leader of a Conti team...

Interesting signing. It seems to be for three years. What’s this kid’s record?

James Mitri has been living abroad in Deia (Mallorca) for the past year! Deià is home to a few ex professionals riders like : Vicente Reynes and Linus Gerderman for example.

Vicente Reynes is the mentor and coach of Mitri. When Reyes was with IAM; Mitri attended some training camps and his talent were spotted there...

James is a climber who however can be versatile and maintain position in the flatter races as well. 1.77cm - 58kg...

Last year he had a good season Winning GC at Vuelta Pamplona (second on the hill-top finish ) 8th in Bizkaiko Itzulia and 5th in Tour of Scotland for example... He also been in the top-20 on GC in junior Tour of Wales in the past!!!

He will make his debut in Murcia!

Exciting. The new Hugh Carthy? Good old Vicente Réynes, what a useless sprinter he was for my Caisse d' Epargne team in the mid/late 00's :D

I don't know whether to make of him as the next Alejandro Valverde or Not? Could he Potentially be good in the Steep Murito Finishes?

Daniel Teklehaimanot to Cofidis.

I'm interested to see how he'll perform with them( I'm betting he might get a Spot on the Tour Team to try and Stage Hunt and win the KOM Jersey)
