I'm not quite as hard on the design, but I agree that the colours deserve better. All argyle would be amazing, but probably not a very appealing idea to the sponsors.

The EF-Drapac kit has too much white for my liking.

As for Nippo-Vini Fantini, I preferred the full on orange of this year.

They had an opportunity to come up with an abomination that would be remembered for years like Castorama, Carrera or Footon-Servetto but they squandered it

How is it possible to take pink, green and argyle and end up with such a pedestrian design?

I find it unbelievable that they always choose to downplay the argyle, the one thing thing that helps them stand out and develop their own corporate image separate from their sponsors, and which makes them a tiny bit more like those teams from other sports that JV wants cycling to emulate.

Exactly how much argyle they can use is presumably heavily influenced by the sponsors and how willing thevlatter are to have thatboattern superimposed over their corporate colours.

Well, yeah, but how much are they really fighting for it when year after year, with completely different sponsors, the argyle motif becomes more and more irrelevant?

Agreed. They’ve almost totally removed the Slipstream argyle as well as dropping the Drapac red/ochre which are the two distinguishing marks of the naming sponsors. They also dropped the Drapac logo which had been around for years. I really don’t get it.

The white part kills it for me. Makes it look quite bland even with the pink and hi-vis green. I'll still root for them since they're continuing to be sponsored by Cannondale. That really messes up the color scheme for the team bikes though.

Those POC helmets are from a by-gone era. Makes the team's riders look like throw back tourists instead of racing pros.

Edit: Any design, no matter how beautiful or tasteful, would be completely compromised by those horrid helmets. :(

Would you be? Having to anticipate an entire year in that kit wearing that helmet? I'm surprised tears aren't welling up in his eyes.
