Ewan did well but i feel like he had more in him and didn't quite get it together yet.


Change the title to Best NEW sprinter of 2017.. Marcel Kittel was the best and everyone knows it for 2017. End of story.

How is this even a contentious question? It's Kittel, then Gaviria then daylight :confused:

Also, if Sagan is included then surely Matthews should be an option?

not a stretch to say the top 3 sprinters were all teammates this year. How about the best leadouts? has to be Quick-Step again

Even as probably (one of) the biggest Quickstep fanboy on this forum I have to say that Trentin was rather unchallenged at the Vuelta. He was basically the only one really trying to win sprint stages. His competition was not that great. At the Tour he wasn't even the last but second to last leadout man for Kittel and yet still dominated the Vuelta. :eek:
That says more about his opponents than it does about Matteo!
