What trick?

Andrea Fedi: End of career sadly.

I saw albanese instead of albasini

That's such a shame, he was a good rider and was always excellent at these races. His early season last year was awesome, showing great potential.

Can someone be bothered to tell us non-italians why Fedi is retiring?
Every cyclists wants to look first-string, bar Bauke Mollema. He doesn't give a **** <-> Thijs Zonneveld

Plagued by injures, namely knee, which had been the reason he hadn't actually had a good race in a season and a half. There was no sight of an end so he retired.

I wonder if Caja Rural are regretting signing Celano yet.

PMG Sports is showing a video starting 17:00 on their Facebook page. Since the race should've finished by then, it is probably only highlights.

The relatively unknown Zamparella outsprints Ulissi, Bernal and Cattaneo. That's a surprise.

He was in the early break, so I guess Ulissi/Bernal/Cattaneo picked him up after the hill zone, and he sat on the wheel and outsprinted them (which was the right tactic for him of course).

Did the Androni duo attack Ulissi in the end? That might have drained some energy from the trio as well.

Zamparella's first pro win (.1 or higher I mean).

Both Ulissi and Zamparella weren't taking turns. Ony the Androni held off the peloton.

What were Ulissi and Zamparella talking about? Money?

zamparella works as a pizzaiolo, i doubt that he could have made a big offer to diego

Colbrelli faster than Viviani again. Elia's role in Bergen is looking a bit redundant now.

It could be his team's money or a favor from Ulissi. Zamparella was for sure not asking how many circuits they still had to do, three times.

It was a strange race. Bernal and Cattaneo not riding to win the race, but instead riding for the Ciclismo Cup points; i.e. a Giro wild card. Ulissi not cooperating in front, the other azzurri not working in the back to get a sprint. And a pizza boy outsmarting them all.
