Brutal rain. The descent is gonna be dangerous. Smart move by Woods to get an advantage before the downhill section. Porte should have joined them too.

Looks spectacular. I just hope the cameras can cope.

They were thinking about neutralizing the descent but they didn't I think. Could be a big mistake.

I'm not thinking about the rain but the lightning. That seems awfully dangerous.

I think we are going to see the slowest decent ever, for the GC riders, nobody wants to risk it ahead of the Tour..... I see the break winning the stage now, solely because of the weather.

Remember the ultra-rainy Suisse stage when Pozzovivo (!) dropped Woods downhill and won?

I think this is a very smart move by Woods. Otherwise, he would have been dropped on the descent.

The group behind Lutsenko/Woods has shrunk to 9 - for the danes: Cort, Hansen and Eg are all still there :)

Dumoulin looks brilliant for pulling out rather than riding in this weather with a sore knee.

Danish on-scene reporter (at the finish), telling the commentators the weather has turned into a hailstorm.
