Cant wait for this!

A little dissapointed Eurosport are only showing and hour, but an hour is better than nothing.

I shall however be watching the rest on the net via the Gazzetta webby :D

he is scheduled to do Paris-Nice the day after and last year very few riders (Hesjedal for example) did both

Cunego (sadly) won't be there :(

So Gilbert FTW. I wonder if Farnese Vini will be looking to Gatto because of Pozzato's injury. I could see him having a chance, alomg with Visconti, Ponzi and Colli.

Yup, which means no commercials! Also on TV2 Sumo obviously.

Preliminary startlist on cyclingfever, if its the real startlist then BMC looks like it will be a hard team to beat.

A lot of people said the same about BMC last week. However they still haven't got a single win this year. But indeed on paper it's the team you have to beat.

Looking forward to this race, hope the italians can deliver some decent tv coverage.

If not anyone from BMC will win it, then I will laugh so hard that I can't describe it.

No, I have no problem with the others, but BMC is like a World team in football, or like a Bauer, Olsson, Cologna, Northug team in XC 4x10 relay, or I don't know.
Evans, Gilbert, Ballan, Van Avermaet, Hincapie. They are just too strong not to win this.

not so sure about that. 1st race of the season for Evans and Hincapie, while Gilbert himself said that he didnt have the legs last week.

Yeah, Gilbert said that he did not have the same feeling as last year during "Het Openingsweekend" but we can't really make assumptions until at least Tirreno.

Van Avermaet(SP?) is riding very well right now. He did very well last weekend.

Gilbert is a marked man in that field no matter what. Same could be said for BMC in general, but there are still some ways to surprise the other teams.

What's great about this race is there is an "Act of God" element with the road conditions, so a rider could be hot, but too many flats/issues and your day is spent chasing back into the field.

No guarantees. That's what makes it better than many races.
