This remind me of airstream saying cyclists can't be at 80%. They only miss a few %. Alberto disagrees:cool:

Reminds me of pudzianowski when he was winning pre wsm warmup events "today 60%, next week 80%, wsm 100%"
The Hitch: Winner 2013 Vuelta cq game. Winner, Velorooms prediction game 2012, 2013. 2nd all time cq rankings.

#Dauphine, Stage 7, Col du Noyer (last 3.93 km, 8.50 %, 334 m). Alberto Contador (64 kg): 11:48, 19.98 Kph, VAM 1698 m/h, 6.05 W/kg [CPL].

64kg?? Don't think so. 61-62 I'd say

He needs to say something along the lines of...

Sir Bradley Marc Wiggins wrote:"Based on what people saw in [the Giro del] Trentino and the training we've been doing in the last couple of weeks, I think I'm better than I was going into the Tour last year"

Well who cares anyway. There's Jakob Fuglsang.
" wrote:"It's magnificent to end it like this," he said. "All the big champions like (Laurent) Jalabert and (Richard) Virenque went out on top and I wanted to do the same."?

finally he said about his sensation…

excerpt from contador:
“I was only thinking about my teammate Michael Rogers today as we wanted to improve his overall result and I always feel good about helping my teammates when I can. They always work for me and today I had the chance to give something back. And we even succeeded in bringing Michael up to third overall in the GC, so of course I'm happy. I have a good feeling and I know I'm on the right track for the Tour de France where I will be on my best level. My sensations are pretty good, I feel quite comfortable on the climbs and tomorrow's forecast says rain, which in some way favors me. We'll see what happens,” said Team Saxo-Tinkoff's Alberto Contador

should we expect a fire works tomorrow?

Sky's aim is to race at 95% in all races. 73% is for training only

Be afraid, be very afraid, Contador says he is only at 75% at most and expects to hit 100% at the tour

LOL. he doesn't bluf. He said he is only at 75%. He didn't say, he will be at 100%, we just assume 100% is what it should be eventually. So that's our fault for making that assumption :-)

A quarter is a lot to gain in a month.

25% corresponds to a ~100 watt gain or a 20 kg loss which is impossible to achieve even in 3 months forget 3 weeks:eek:.

Yes. It's not peaking, it's proper build up.

Figuratively guys. He's speaking figuratively (not to be confused with speaking literally). He feels good but has some room to improve.

Does Contador have beef with Navarro, bet he was nothappy seeing Contador chase him down as soon as he attacked. I thought Contador was good to ex teammates? I always thought their was more to this when Navaro left.
