Would you like to listen to the Vuelta a Colombia on the radio? You should, since you'll get a good sense for what cycling broadcasts on the radio have sounded like going back to the early 1980s. To put it simply, it's absolute insanity. Musical jingles, the commercials, the commentary, it's all slightly surreal and highly comical. Some of the voices are still the same that I listened to as a kid during the Tour de France, and what's more, they still use an unbelievable amount of reverb for the entire broadcast, including live reports from cars and motorcycles. From what I can tell, broadcasts begin at 11am (EST). Listen here, there's a quick video advertisement, but then it goes to live coverage.

Although many didn't like 2012:

1. Félix Cárdenas (Great Wall) ~ 38h:52m:32s
2. Alejandro Ramirez (Orgullo Paisa) à 1:20"
3. Flober Peña (Cundinamarca) à 1:20"
4. Juan Ramirez (Supergiros) à 2:12"
5. Victor Niño (Lotería Boyacá) à 2:25"
6. Fernando Camargo (Lotería Boyaca) à 2:56"
7. Alex Cano (Orgullo Paisa) à 3:23"
8. Freddy Montaña (Movistar) à 3:47"
9. Ivan Parra (Col) Epm-Une à 4:21"
10. Darwin Atapuma (Coldeportes) à 4:36"
11. Fabio Montenegro (IDRD-Bogotá) à 4:53"
12. Fabio Duarte (Coldeportes) à 5:04"

Honor roll:

2012 Félix Cárdenas
2011 Félix Cárdenas
2010 Sergio Luis Henao
2009 José Rujano (Ven)
2008 Giovanni Baez
2007 Santiago Botero
2006 José Castelblanco
2005 Libardo Niño

Yes Ecuador

On another note some explaning done by Monarca to RMC today >> http://www.revistamundociclistico.com/ruta/13492-seria-un-sueno-cumplido-poder-ganar-la-vuelta-a-colombia-oscar-sevilla.html
