Baga- Gallina/Canolich with Ordino and Comella

Andorra-Peyragudes with Canto-Bonaigua-Portillon-Peyresourde/Peyragudes
or with Canto-Bonaigua-Bales-Peyresourde/Peyragudes

They are not bad Pyrenean stages.
If the stage in Peña Cabarga is good we can have a good Vuelta, with a thing I don´t like , the lack of time trial kilometres

Hopefully UniPurito wins and we can have again ITTs in spain;)

I would guess between 30 and 40 km, but that is pure speculation :o
Cancellara is like The Black Album. Really good but way overrated.

There are news saying the TTT will have 27 kilometres more or less and the ITT more than 35 kilometres.

is this still the Vuelta thread?
A race that doesn't give an attacker the chance to finish it off alone is not a race anymore.

Don't get too excited. Call me a pessimist, but I'm predicting a monumental fiasco in that stage. I hope I'm wrong.

The only two upsides from my point of view are:
- decisive stages right to the end of the last week instead of that Basque country crap they pulled of 2 years ago
- the big mountain stage on the Pyrenees. At least a proper mountain stage which is not just an uphill finish.

I need the profiles before saying anything, but it seems there are a couple of mountain stage, even if we can't expect much by them in this kind of overall route. Still, it's better than expected, isn't it?

I refer to your first sentence. ;)

But let's say I'm a tiny bit more positive than I was 5 days ago.

Still, if the Peyragudes stages turns up to be a good, proper mountain stage, we should be even more angry at Unipublic's inferiority complex when it comes to mountains in Spain. How can we criticise those who think making a proper mountain stage in Spain is impossible, when Unipublic is constantly acting as if that was the case by planning proper mountain stages only when they move into France?

Read my last post. They might climb Envalira not in that stage but in the previous one.

All we know is Envalira is the Cima Alberto Fernández.

I think Envalira would be quite a detour on the stage to Peyragudes, especially if the organization would try to avoid doing more climbs than necessary.

Wait, I mean doing more climbs than the bare minimum to get from A to B.
