Ok, I am revising my opinion on the new Sky kits. Looks pretty darn good on the bike actually.

I understand Rapha don't actually make the Sky kit (and neither did Adidas before them). So who does??

Thanks.

Rapha does in fact now make the Sky kits - It was true however that Adidas had the kits made by Nalini.

Was going to comment on the Argos kit, but I forgot what it looks like while I was scrolling up.

Very few changes. Interestingly, Hincapie Sportswear is no longer sponsoring BMC or being the clothing provider.

Looks like Pearl Izumi? Which didn't Phinney Sr. start that company? Or at least have a hand in starting?

I don't like it at all, they should have gone more green on white, or what I would really prefer is them going back to this design scheme, with different colors and sponsors. it's a classic jersey that belongs back in the peloton

Gallery of Sky riders in new kit. Looks like Peter Kennaugh has a contract with Nike  Always found it slightly crazy, when they don't even sell cycling shoes (I know Cavendish wears them).

Kennaugh very likely, but Cav isn't on Nike any more, but on Speci shoes in 2013.

agree, the lollipop scheme is considerable better than the current version.

from the official Facebook page...

this looks like a NIGHTMARE from a design point of view. the front makes no sense at all  (a pity considering that flashy green back is awesome...at least they'll be easy to spot!)

The kit isn't all that bad though. Yes it has problems, but compared to some of the hideous jerseys we have seen the past few years its not bad.

Isn't the reason Argos Shimano stopped using the red and white design because that's essentially the Skil logo and packaging design?

It's a brilliant, classic jersey, but Skil aren't a sponsor anymore.
...[Walsh] thinks we're ahead of the curve. But think about it for a sec. We're building long-lasting, trusting relationships with people who are spending a lot of money - Coke, Nike, Subaru. If we're f***ing lying, we can kiss it all goodbye. And if we were lying we'd do some stupid stuff to try to cover it up, wouldn't we? Cycling team kits are getting more and more boring. The new Movistar kit looks like something you could get off a semi-custom cycling gear website. Sky should just go to all black and get it over with.

This thread is funny, you guys sound like a bunch of fashionistas. :D
Strangely enough it seems that if a kit's got too few colours, then it's boring, and if it's got too many then it unharmonic.

The "new" Garmin-Sharp kit is exactly the same as the old kit. I bet they'll have a new uni for the Tour like they've been doing.

I'm glad to see the Movistar kit wasn't that chinese knockoff shown in here previously. :p

Well, the most beautiful jersey out there is still the maglia rosa. Although I want back the maglia ciclamino. What a beautiful colored jersey that was <3
