It's hard, small group (GC contenders only) for sure.

Looks like Sky's Giro squad + Froome, already sorting the Wiggins train out.

I mean, if it was his first race, it's not a problem at all, but no way was he one of the best. Wasn't even in the top 10.

It was his 1st race of the year.... and he was total domestique for Wiggins..

What the hell can you expect more ffs ?

Sky's Oman squad looks bit ridiculous :p

Well nothing, but somebody went arround saying he was one of the strongest, which I don't think he was, because he had poor form because it was the first race of the season.

Since he isn't domestiquing for Wiggo and since he has more race rythm now, he should definitely be considered one of the favourites, considering the field, which I already affirmed.

Don't believe Joe Dombrowski's full schedule has been posted yet.

Tentatively, Dombrowski is slated to ride the Giro, the Tour of Oman, Tirreno-Adriatico, Criterium International, Route du Sud and the Giro del Trentino. He may get to race stateside, as Sky is weighing racing in Colorado come August at the USA Pro Challenge, according to the team.

Hope Sky races US Pro Challenge, as Dombro has a good shot at the best young rider, or even a podium there.

Nice that they have picked up an invite to Route du Sud, his best chance to win a stage race.

TJ Butcher has added Tirreno to his programme.

What a hard programme for Dombrowski, BTW. They tryin' to kill him in his first year?

Henao is much older than Dombrowski. And Dombro only started road racing a few years ago.

I'm sure somewhere else, theories are already being concocted about keeping the good ole boy away from the secretive training camps by ensuring he has lots of races.

Yeah I saw him on cyclingfever on that startlist as well like a month ago or something, but de vacansoleil site doesn't have him, and he's not listed on cyclingfever anymore either.

At least in Oman it should be good wheather for him.

If he races, he should be able to show us something nice on Green Mountain no? :)

...[Walsh] thinks we're ahead of the curve. But think about it for a sec. We're building long-lasting, trusting relationships with people who are spending a lot of money - Coke, Nike, Subaru. If we're f***ing lying, we can kiss it all goodbye. And if we were lying we'd do some stupid stuff to try to cover it up, wouldn't we? Saint Vallier stage looks good to me, if someone wants to take risks.

The other one will be a train going up with a little sprint in the end. No more than 5 minutes of action.

I dunno, a 1000m (even at this gradient) climb in March with a relatively weak field has potential for biggish gaps although it depends whether a team drills it or just tries to control.

And then people wonder why PN has lost all of its prestige in a few years.
A race that doesn't give an attacker the chance to finish it off alone is not a race anymore.
