I assume you are asking about Sanchez at his peak because currently there is no basis for an equal comparison?

Revisiting last years polls is great, things change quite fast so its good to recount the last years battles in a poll :D

Nibs by a land slide! Sammy had a dreadful year so figures he'd lost out this year.

We also get to see who jumps ship after this year and who's still on the bandwagon ;)

Sanchez in my opinion is the better climber and time trial rider, when both are on equivalent form levels. Nibali in many ways has a more impressive palmares considering where he is in his career but I would still say Sanchez is the better OVERALL rider.
