He doesn't suck, although his pattern of results is suspect to say the least, and he might have other hints of clinicness about him.

Video of the climb to give you an idea of what it is like.
Downhill all the way from the top so will be decided from the group that goes over the top first. Not a fast decent and the final 3 km only drop about 60m so it does flatten out.

Hoping for a Gerrans victory but the Phil is a huge chance. Expect one of the Uni SA boys to attack from the very base of the climb and start the carnage. Will be very telling to see who has overall ambitions

Will the coverage on Sky Sports start after this football match is over?

On the basis the race is usually won or lost on seconds adding a prologue would make it like the first tour of Beijing where a Tony Martin type rider wins the opening and then holds the lead till the end

Apparently Andy was on the front of the peloton chasing the break, good to see him trying to get back in form.

Two dangerous Aussies in this breakaway, peleton not giving them much time. Will Clarke was in UniSA team last year when he had a solo breakaway and won Stage 2 last year. Don't think they will give him that leeway again. Clarke has taken 6 seconds in bonuses with his two intermediate sprint wins

The other Aussie from UniSA is young Calvin Watson who won the Herald Sun Tour overall 3 weeks ago. Tough youngster.
