I dont know if it has a specific name....
Halfway the ascent they cross the finishline in Grasse, then they keep on climbing for a while, and then it's down again to the finish

yes, not hard, but enough to take out most sprinters.
The finish took me by surprise. Thought it was mostly flat after final KOM.

you should've seen romandie, or classics 2008
but with the amound of 'help' he had it's worth nothing now. still sad

Would be sad - great startlist and parcours.

Glad that at least Haut Var will have coverage, at least I hope so, if France3 or so haven´t dropped it.

At least I don't think so?! I just assumed, but it would surprise me if there was live coverage

Still, there probably was some talent there. We'll see this year, I guess.

Yeah, I think I remember the same, read it here on CN or on a German forum. Last year, it also was only 3-4 minutes clips from every stage, compareable to Marseillaise and Besseges. Sad, Tour Med deserves a live coverage IMHO, though it´s "only" 2.1 .

Just the increasingly muddy European naming conventions (not meant negatively).

Anyway, lets see if Hofland can turn himself into The Man.

Moreno Hofland was named after Moreno Argentin. Just like Moreno Moser, probably.

BTW, 'Van' is not a first name in Dutch. 'Van' means 'from'.

I´m pretty sure that Team Androni Giocattoli-Venezuela will do a great race, and atleast one stage will be won by one of them. A good guess is that Mattia Gavazzi takes that or Franco Pellizotti. If there is any climbs I think that either Emanuele Sella or Diego Rosa will make some nice climbs.
