Should be good; nice burn up between the 2nd tier GC guys if the TA lineup rumours are true.

I'm going to be in Paris for the start of this race, but it is looks like it is going to be the equivalent of a junior varsity line up for this race. :(

Prologue, 4 sprints an ok hill/descent and MTF.

At least they kept Eze. With such a short prologue (too short, I dare say) winner definitely looks like being the top climber.

Yes it looks that the field for PN will be pretty weak compared to last years. Looking forward to see Ulissi as a leader though (not that I think he can win, bust just to see how he does).

If the top riders will keep going to TA they will need to rethink this course.

I like this course more than that of Tirreno - Adriatico.
Also, expected TA field would provide more excitement on this course.

Also Rogers & Tony Martin will ride.

Haven't seen that, he may not ride then. I was just going from cyclingfevers startlist.

Might have some good sprints as well; so far Viviani, Bouhanni, Ferrari, Boonen, and Kittel all listed on the startlist.

How could anybody like this route better than Tirreno-Adriatico?

Terrible, terrible route.

 at least tell us why...
A race that doesn't give an attacker the chance to finish it off alone is not a race anymore.

The stage into Saint Vallier is good. The final stage is a nice finale.

The mountain stage would be good if it weren't supposed to be the queen stage. It is a bit meh for a stage that is meant to be decisive. At least it is better than the Mende debacle last year for a queen stage.

They don't show all the stages on the website. Maybe one or two of the other stages are a bit tricky.

No stupid ttt, very nice uphill finish, better itt for conclusion than in T-A.
As I said, T-A field would bring more excitement on this route than on T-A.

And the MTF of Tirreno isn't nice?
and what about the other stages?
