Break's advantage falling rapidly as cars are removed from gap between two race leaders and peloton. Catch imminent.

"I under-evaluated him (Gerald Ciolek) a little bit. I was watching Cancellara, who was trying to break free, and maybe I did too much work," Sagan said. "Ciolek stayed in the wheels and he took my wheel to do the sprint and was able to beat me. I went too early in the sprint."

Inside final 30K of first stage of @TourofOman3 and Traksel (CSS) has sat up. Uchima (JPN) leads alone with 40"

Uchima (JPN) has rejoined the bunch after 146K in break. Altogether heading towards stage one finish at Sultan Qaboos University.

Fumy Beppu (OGE) is pulling at front of the bunch. ORICA-GreenEDGE would be happy to line things up for Matt Goss in a bunch sprint.
