Buy Eurosport-Player, it's worth it.

Eurosport player is definitely worth it!

Does anyone know how to make the multiplex function work? Need some way to be able to watch both P-N and T-A.
In Italy when you need a coffee you need the right barista, so you need to teach Chris [Juul Jensen] how to make the right coffee.

Oh yeah, I'd second that.

RedheadDane, the Multiplex feature is simple to lose. Just load up whatever live program you want, obviously on the right there's Multiplex. Click the down pointing arrow above the top of the 2 boxes, select the ES channel you don't have in the main box, & it'll load there. But small though. I figure I'll just watch Tirreno & then catch highlights of Paris-Nice in the evening.

Eeeh... not sure I understand that explanation... :o

Just hoping there'd be some way I could quickly jump from one race to another, like with my remote.

Of course that way of watching might leave you a little confused!

Don't see how Eurosport Player solves the problem of Tirreno not being live at all for 3 of the stages - unless the website shows events live not shown on TV?

I used it in 2009 and I remember the Giro was live one hour or so before the TV. I know I bought it because I was tired watching all those Chupa Chups vs Humpa Lumpa matches in 1'st round of Roland Garos.

Damn, I didn't realise that Tirreno was getting shown delayed because of skiing over the weekend. That's a bummer

On my Sky planner it has P-N live on Eurosport 2 from 2:30 then T-A from 4pm for 2 hours which im guessing will be extended highlights.

It's on Eurosport 2 tomorrow, at least in the UK, the Nice-Col d'Eze time-trial.

From what was shown last year, British Eurosport have lost Tour de Romandie and Tour de Suisse to Sky Sports. That makes it 4/28 WT events being shown on Sky in some way, shape or form.

I personally hope it's not a trend for Sky to show more cycling and taking it away from ES. I no longer really watch football as it is Sky or nothing. With WT cycling I'm happy just with the ES player and my IPad. 4 races is more than last year right,?

Have you a link for this. It won't affect me at all as I have Sky all the time but I predicted a few days ago races like these were most likely vulnerable to be bought up by Sky as they were probably purchased more on a short-term basis by Eurosport. The RCS and ASO ones are on a longer term with Eurosport(2016) and ITV(2015) so they will have to wait here.

Does this affect only British Eurosport or their whole operation?

I think I'm right in saying that all Sky showed last year was Tour Down Under and Elite Series Criterium.

So far this year, they have shown Gent-Wevelgem (which was not on Eurosport) in addition to TDU, as well as highlights of various races such as Tirreno. They have highlights of Amstel Gold Race coming up as well. Brabantse Pijl tonight (not Eurosport but not WT either).

Eurosport have got Elite Series though! And Premier Calendar!

No I wouldn't think so.

My take on it is that the RCS contract gives Eurosport rights to the Giro, Strade-Bianche, T-A, Roma Maxima, and Lombardy until 2016. I presume Eurosport have a similar arrangement with ASO like ITV have until 2015. As well as the Tour, they can show P-R, LBL, CI and other ASO events until then. It's the non ASO and RCS events in the meantime which could be affected like as mentioned Romandy, Suisse, Pais Vasco, and Catalonia. But it shouldn't be any real surprise that they are venturing more into WT events, even outside of showing highlights of the WT events, they are also showing highlights of the non-WT semi Belgian classics and are continuing it tonight with the showing of Brabantse Pijl at 23.00 on Sky Sports 4.

But just to make it clear I have looked around and I have found no confirmation of what the poster said above about Sky acquiring Romandie and Suisse.

Brian Smith on Twitter after I asked him about Romandie coverage on Eurosport.

What can be said with a bit of certainty is that it's not on the Eurosport schedule, hence my question:
