Thanks for clearing it up. I just checked his account there myself now.

No doubt about it they will expand on after this and it will lead to their monopoly on the coverage of the sport. It was only a matter of time really before they would get involved. And looking on the 23rd April Eurosport are only showing the 3rd stage of the Tour of Turkey.

I cancelled Sky Sports a while back too as I was only really watching Eurosport regularly, serious decision to make here. I know it's much maligned by some but I missed watching TDU on the telly, having to rake around for it on youtube the next day while avoiding the result. It'll be same with Romandie and TdS as I'll be out at work when they're streamed live. Bloody sky. £250pa lighter or miss an increasing number of races... ******.

Yeah, Tour of Turkey that week, no Romandie.

To be fair increased television coverage increases the sports revenue, which it desperately needs. However it does leave you over a barrel if cycling is the only sport you want to watch and are faced with the yearly subscription

Well I guess I'll have a lot more free time coming up in the coming years

Tour of Turkey was a really good race last year though, probably more entertaining than Romandie.

Don't disagree, I really enjoyed it too. Especially the EPO-fueled comedy Bulgar.

Hmm... am I the only one to whom the 2012 Tour of Turkey will always mean one thing, and one thing only?

Keisse's epic stage 7 win!
I've long been a bit confused by the fact that CAS can refer to both:
Court of Arbritation for Sport.
and Chris Anker Sørensen.

Kirby's commentary certainly! But yeah, to drop a chain, get off to fix it, and still win was epic.

Indeed, will always be remembered for Mark Renshaw actually winning something.

Just looking ahead, it seems that this year's Dauphine coverage is watered down:

Stage 1 highlights: 10.30pm Sunday
Stage 2 live: 12pm Monday
Stage 3 highlights: 6.30pm Tuesday
Stage 4 highlights: 6.30pm Wednesday
Stage 5 live: 12pm Thursday
Stage 6 live: 12pm Friday
Stage 7 live: 12pm Saturday

That's probably over the French Open.

What is certain is that the Tour de Suisse is definitely on Sky. Robert Hatch confirmed that yesterday.
