You're an admin, don't you have a button that says "Solve the problems on the CN forum"?

Can't you just press that?

I was just coming in to say that it seems fixed and to thank whoever pressed the magic button, and I got 502ed again.

It would be handy if the thread could be retitled: if there are enough tabs open for the tab to be incomplete, the tab for this thread is exactly the same as it is when there is a 502 error.

No idea, still frustratingly slow for me and I have a very good internet connection.

Can get past the Bad Gateway message now but slow - which seems to be a PHP problem. There's also some Java warnings coming up.

Thank god it’s isnt just me getting that message, I was thinking my computer was gubbed, I was worried that one to many visits to pornhub before pornblock comes into play in the UK had infected my computer with a virus......all seems ok now, just slow on my phone

Normally when I log onto the forum, the shortcut I have brings me straight to the new posts page: starting shortly before this recurring 502 problem, it would take me initially to the log on page. If other people are finding the same, it may be that the problem is related to that.

Still very slow today, but no 502s (so far) this afternoon. (Edit: spoke too soon, but not as bad as the weekend)

Still happening....it took me 6 tries to get here. Hopefully this posts. Your IT people need to check the servers!

They are currently working on the problem and hopefully things will be back to normal soon, it does appear to be running smoother in the past hour or so.

I genunily couldn't log in for two days in a row and I tried it don't know how many times. Was starting to get seriously worried. Probably shows I spend too much time on this forum. :o

The forum seems to be working as it should now - thanks to whoever gave the server a good kicking!

So now we know why the first two stages of Paris Nice have been much more entertaining than might have been predicted.

Happened to me a couple of times too past week.
I think it's the sign of a clean rider and a real sportsman to be attracted to the bigger challenge over the ultimate result. Good luck with the Giro/Tour double, Chris Froome. -Phil Gaimon

It all makes sense now, some admin messed around with the forum because he was really looking forward to paris nice and wanted the first two stages to deliver. Evil genius. My money is on Red Rick

I thought the trick was Gigs not watching a race. You can still watch without access to the forum.
