It seems a pretty lazy design to be honest but I guess it works.

Lazy? I've certainly not seen such a fade on a cycling jersey before, but sure...

Edit: Okay, Movistar have the same this year.

And Astana 2017
Whooow a fade of black to dark blue, I'm sure a team of designers spent 2 weeks working on this idea.

I'm annoyed. They all copied my bottle

There is nothing original about Team Sky and the new jersey keeps the trend intact.
Dull and business like.

Things must be quiet if we're arguing about the esthetic qualitites of the new Sky kit. Boo! Narcissist! (training for next year :))

LA in Portugal had the fade almost every year for a decade. I'm pretty sure there was a Liberty Seguros one with a dark blue/light blue fade as well.

I think its ok, mit meh, but in the sea of darkness that has been the peloton in recent years it will at least be visible

Darkness was prevalent seasons ago, more recently everybody seemed to go white and blue.

The Lotto jersey is not ugly or anything, but it's pretty bland.

De Gent will be in every breakaway of every race, so no need to spice things up.

Or, in a version that actually makes the kit visible:

Essentially the same as last year's with the lower part of the torso the same as the shoulders. The raspberry coloured K (yeah, I know it isn't really a K) on the back should be clear enough to avoid confusion with Movistar/Astana.

That’s a very odd jersey-short combination.

The Katusha kit must be one of the worst colour combinations ever. The blue doesn't match with both reds, the bright red of the Alpecin logo doesn't match with the bordeaux red of the shorts. Could have been a very nice kit, if they had chosen the right blue and red.

Disagree. I think the colors match decently. Perhaps not the two shades of red, but the toothpaste shade of blue complements them quite well.

The Alpecin part on the jersey being a very different shade of red than the bibs bothers me.

I really like the new Katusha kit.

Me too! Reminds me of the Canadian world champs jerseys that are designed to stand out in a crowd.
Now lets get the Michelton Scott team on board and add some colour.

I also like the vivid light blue color, as displayed in the picture above. However, that seems to be enhanced, because on all other pictures and videos it's just a bland shade of blueish gray.

i like it, it reminds me of Gerolsteiner. the shorts should be the same shade of red as the Alpecin logo, though.
