More than two years later, it seems Rujano is back in business and so it's this thread. Should we believe him this time?

In 2013, Rujano is targeting the Giro, Vuelta and Worlds

He also said Armstrong and Contador are numero 1. :D

Now seeing him at the Vuelta could be exciting.

Would be great to finally see him with the motivation to go for Giro, Vuelta, and Worlds. I'm not quite convinced he has that motivation though.

With his move to the WorldTour, I wonder if he'll put more focus on more races besides the Giro.

To be honest I'm more amazed by Vacansoleil ability to contract dubious GT riders. Rujano won't perform this year. He is free to amaze me though :)

the great thing now, is if the giro fails. he has an entire rest of the season to make it up. including the vuelta.

I have serious doubts in the way Vacansoleil helps their riders through hard times. With Devolder it didnt looked so well.

devolder is a total idiot anyway and was already f'd up from before going to vacansoleil. rujano doesn;t need any guidance. he is his own motivator or perhaps savio motivated him, because he really hates him now.

I don't think he showed a ton of motivation this year, exiting the Giro even when the team doctor said there wasn't anything wrong with him for example. Then again, I forget if it was confirmed that he was sick during the Giro or not.

It would be great if he does have the motivation though, the 2nd best climber in the world (or was it 3rd?) would definitely make Wiggo hurt in the mountains. And it does sound like he is committing himself to the sport more, targeting Vuelta and worlds as well as the Giro.

Rujano on top form would be definitely exciting to watch but I'm not sure that he will ride Giro and Vuelta at top form or he really wants to show Savio what he's capable of

Very nice addition to the Giro.
Now we just need 1 or 2 TT'ers to step forward.

He doesn't have shape now, the original post is from 2010.
