Last climb is just one long massive drag on a decent road.. Pretty easy to sit on if you are feeling ok in fact... I think Froomes Tenerife sessions will stand him in good stead...

Re: Tour de France 2017 Stage 18: Briançon - Izoard, 179.5km Froome jumped to soon. Should of waited till after the small descent then gone full "Alien" . Would of been more likely to force the gap to stick.

Position is everything... The race to the base of the climb could be the decider as its going to be carnage 20 riders back..

The Start loop looks wide and fairly long before it narrows out. So if he can jump through into the top 6 on this section anything could happen.. The trick sections are not to long so i could easily see Sagan hanging on to a fairly high placing...

Hanson and Cav will both be kicking themselves.... after the Devil .. Pole position and opportunity gifted away...!

It was Trench Warfare out in the jungle.... The riders were all aware of it so I guess it was down to personal risk-reward was how far they pushed the envelope.... I guess the deep gutters -are there for rain forest type storms... Bottle issue was worse in some ways ,as the one of those...

Wonder if there will be a lot more Trench Warfare going on in the rain forest today ? Time for the Girls to sort out the Bouncing bottle issues I guess with some tape or cage adjustments. That was seriously scary yesterday.. Like to see Lizzie do well but I reckon you need to be 101% to win...

Quintana was lucky the Ventoux was not a MTF and that the Crash messed everything up... He was standing to lose a huge chunk of time to Froome otherwise on the upper slopes.. would of been game over already..

Mostly in cross races if you leg a run without the bike and change it at the top ... Road Races well youre only losing the advantage not gaining..
