Most overrated (good) rider in the peloton?

Indeed. A rider of Matthews' ability should have at least an MSR, Amstel and WC win, along with a couple of top results at Flanders. I do think Sagan also got into his head early in his career

Michael Matthews wins this hands down for me. He should have a much better palmares, but never quite got that Milan SanRemo win, Flanders podium or Giro/second TDF points classification.

TBF he was easily 3rd best at the 2023 TdF before his crash

He's lurking and looks to be getting stronger when it matters. The final week might not be a two horse race

Of course, but I'm talking about the myopericarditis and iliac artery issues - both requiring major surgery - she's also faced.

Ben O'Connor: Baby face becomes conqueror

At this point of a GT and a stage like that, if nobody responds it's usually because they can't

    Giro d'Italia 2025 Giro d'Italia Women, July 6-13

Gigante is a true racer. Despite her demeanour and bike handling limitations, if she smells blood she'll try to strike. Reusser being slightly unwell explains her teams actions

Hopefully Gigante has finally turned a corner. It's always a flash of massive potential followed by an unlucky crash. Or a crash from bad bike handling. Or an illness/heart condition. It's exhausting being a fan of hers

Good on Yates. If they're going to ride like total fwits you have to punish them :p

Del Toro should have gotten off his bike at the foot of the final climb and started signing autographs. Just to rub it into Carapaz

Not from MvDP already in good form. I do see Pogacar being there close to the end though
