Gilbert, Cunego, Bettini all are genuine Ardennes campaigners. I mean, it's been a while since the last time a preceeding Lombardia winner was not in the mix for a good Ardennes campaign. maybe it's just me. Is Zaugg riding AGR btw?

until asian riders starting to break through the pro ranks big time, i don't see it happening, no matter how optimistic it looks. the only non-european riders who are making their marks at the higest level are the australians and the americans, who by the way, really deserve a world tour event...

+1. that crossed my mind too. it was more of a "what if" questions playing in my mind rather than a doubt on samu's chance. but not taking into account of the price of samu's effort today, he can actually vie for the podium realistically now.

understandable.. i jumped with joy when he crossed the line.. but then as i sat down and analyzed the situation, i'm afraid that he might have spent 3/4 of his tank for this Tour. kinda remind me of igor anton in the Giro. won on the mighty zoncolan, and disappeared the following days...

i miss those boring days.. it's been a while since the last time i dozed off in front of the tv due to a boring stage.. i havent had any in this tour so far.. and dont even start with how the giro went.. yep a normal boring day would help and much welcomed.
