Another decent result today but without an attack he's not going to make up the 4 or 5 minutes needed to slip into the top 10, I fear. Overall a great showcase for him this Giro where he was able to prove his worth and get more chances for himself in the future. But let's not go overboard...

With what support team though? It's not like they're gonna pull all of his climbing domestiques out of the race as well. And can he compete without Van Wilder or Hirt? Even if Remco himself recovers and finds the needed form for the Tour, his team won't be anywhere near the rest of the competitors.

But so much for all the experts who said he peaked too early or the crashes affected him... none of it was true. Guy was battling Covid and still best everyone in the TT.
