    Tour Down Under 2026 (Men's, Jan. 20-25)

Agreed, FFB looked reasonable on the climb at first but than he broke completely. I think in normal shape the guys you mentioned should be more competitive than they were today. Sucks, because the race is already over now heading into Willunga.

    The Matthew Brennan Threat

That was some impressive speed on the kid, who had to come from far back.

Yeah likeability of this team also went down the drain in one year for me. Really liked Trek in the past. With a core of Pedersen, Milan, Skjelmose, Ciccone and up and coming guys like Nys, AWP and Vacek they were doing really nicely. The Gee-West but especially the Ayuso buyout do not really...

He could have made the decision before Visma decided to let Cian go. 😂

Hot racing coming up in Australia

Dont think Haig or Zana have a very good chance of winning either. Eetvelt does reserve a mention though and maybe Ronnie as well after last year.

Thats the big question. He won on similar terrain in Norway, but Willunga is a bit harder and with more competition. I think in form he can definitely survive stage 2. But stage is a big question mark even in very good shape for now. Will be interesting too see for sure.

Its the last time he can do San Remo as a captain probably, so smart choice. 😉

Giro d'Italia Giro d'Italia 2026 Route: Speculation, Rumours and Announcements

Looks like a very nice parcours compared to all recent years. So my guess is that it is too good to be true, and people here will be very disappointed again once the actual route is presented.

Out of the three GTs I would say Vuelta is normally the one least suited to Lipowitz his skill set. Definitely would bet on one of the UAE boys beating Lipowitz in an average Vuelta. So I think Roglic still makes sense. Personally I think that Roglic is one the decline, but with just one bad...

    Isaac Del Toro thread

For me it is a very good interview and he is not trying to put the blame elsewhere but is putting the blame for bad tactics with several people including himself. If he wasnt updated/reminded on Van Aert being in front that is obviously a mistake from the DS. But he also takes the blame...

Would me plain stupid to sent all 7 to the Tour and they are never going to do that. At least 2 out of Evenepoel, Roglic, Hindley, Pellizarri and Lipowitz will go to the giro. I am expecting Roglic/Hindley with Pellizarri. DFM and Vlasov will have to do a couple of very good first months to...

Teams & Riders The Great Big Cycling Transfers, Extensions, and Rumours Thread

In May and June, three separate road races were held. The rider with the smallest combined time in those three races was crowned national champion. And then they have the ITT Championship and another ITT Championship over coastal roads. What is so strange about that?
