Impressive that he wins 3 stages in a row, but I am a bit underwhelmed that he chooses to do so with a stomp every time. He clearly had a lot more in the tank, and after his Giro disaster in the final stage I had hoped he would be a little less calculating here.

The Guy had a very very bad crash in Hungary to be fair. So no clue how that affected him but it didnt look too pretty.

Yeah the hilly and mountain stages were surprisingly bad. The sprint stages were unlucky and with very poor support. Doing finales on your own in sprints within GTs is just almost impossible nowadays.

Torres has not been that bad now has he. Around the top-25 in WT courses like Australië, Catalunya and Romandie and a podium at a small race like Abruzzo. Crashed out in Hungary unfortunately. I think it is decent, not great.

Not buying into this narrative

Biggest anti-climax I have ever watched. Del Toro build so much goodwill with me this Giro, but threw if all away not riding like a real champion today. UAE is a poor team at tactics.

Stupid gamble by Del Toro and will leave the giro as a result of it.
