I tend to agree. Particularly as the speeds they get to now makes many courses dangerous or unsuitable. But there is a whole economy built around people having to buy a TT specific bike.

TDF I think actually has the same deal as recent P-N with individual being counted, so launching one rider at the end. Makes it tough strategically for teams with more than one leader. Particularly with it ending in a climb.
