Yeah , but you have to keep things in perspective. Pogy had some real bad days (wrong bag/day after?) where he was just sitting on his teammates wheels looking terrible. He was probably telling them to slow down too. Ditto for another comment I read about Vingo saying something along the lines...

Yeah, and Pog has been known to have real bad days where he loses minutes. As has Remco for that matter. I kinda hope it happens. Not for Jonas, but just to make the TDF more interesting. Also just a bad enough day to keep others in contention.

The way I saw this Vuelta is the other teams "gifted" the race to Kuss. Followed by what happened to Remco. You don't let a talented climber who's is a top 10 contender anyway (D'd or not) go up the road and gain minutes. That's on the the other teams. Arguing it any other way is like saying...

Good point, not saying they're not on some purple juice too. But I don't recall any of the Jumbo riders riding away from people on multiple mountain stages on any of those tours and putting nearly 3 minutes into everyone each stage. I even recall a few bad days, for them anyway.
