    Giro d'Italia 2018 stage 19: Venaria Reale – Jafferau 184km

Patience is the key for Dumoulin. If he's starts to panic, it's all over imo.

Could be vital for Dumoulin if Reichenbach bridges. He will work for Pinot's podium!

Extremely painful, even though i'm not a Yates fan.

    Giro d'Italia 2018 stage 15: Tolmezzo – Sappada 176 km

I don't understand all the fuzz really. I mean, the final was OK. But apart from that, i think the stage was rather boring. Yates is just far superior to his rivals. Pozzo and Pinot are good climbers, but not good enough to really challenge for GT victory. Lopez is improving, but rather...

The only thing Yates can stop this Giro, is a bad day in the final week. Apart from that, i don't see it.

    Giro d'Italia 2018 stage 6: Caltanissetta - Etna 164 km

Re: Re: I don't know. If the order is respected, Chaves should hit peak form in the third week. And don't forget he's got more experience as a GC rider. He reaced the podium two times already, while Yates has never reached a podium in a GT.

    Giro d'Italia 2018 stage 6: Caltanissetta - Etna 164 km

Re: Re: That attack from Yates was Alarconesque! :surprised: Chavito really strong too! Mitchelton-Scott could finish with two guys on the podium in Milano. Normally you would expect Chaves to become stronger in the third week. But i also expect Lopez, Aru and Froome (yes, still) to become...

    2018 Giro d'Italia, Stage 1: Jerusalem - Jerusalem ITT 9.7 K

Great outcome, it's bodes well for the rest of the race! Hopefully Froome doesn't struggle too much in the upcoming days. He's lucky the first tough stage is on tuesday. Great performance from Pozzo, Betancur and Yates!

Teams & Riders He's coming home!!!! Alejandro Valverde comeback thread.

He just lacks some form atm. Maybe he wanted to return on a high level too soon, which means he's drained out now. A difference too is that the Ardennes classics were raced way more agressively this year comparing last years. It's way more difficult for Valverde and Movistar to control things...

Re: Re: But a day after Huy, he was one of the better riders in the cobble stage. And a couple of days after that, he already finished 3rd on the Mur de Bretagne. For sure he was not at his best on that particular day on the Mur de Huy, but that's not only because his shape was 'poor'. I'm...
