What do you think should be done about stage 16?

It was an amazing ride. I hope his career continues to blossom and that we can see Nairo, Froome, Alberto and Nibali trading blows (and the younger riders who are showing so much in this race) in GTs for years to come. In the end I think Quintana will continue to ride away from anyone in the...

What do you think should be done about stage 16?

from Nicholas Roche http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport/giro-d-italia/nicolas-roches-giro-ditalia-diary-confusion-over-red-flag-has-left-us-frustrated-30309531.html "The word coming back from team scouts was so bad that race leader Rigobero Uran and his Omega Pharma Quickstep squad agreed...

What do you think should be done about stage 16?

Yes, but governing bodies have had no problems thinking on their feet and imposing penalties mid race when it comes to other issues in the past. Quintana claims he did nothing wrong and clearly he is a liar. He may not have rode down on the motorbike, but he showed blatant disregard for the...

What do you think should be done about stage 16?

From twitter ... @l_guercilena: Marco Velo, driver of Safety Moto "my red flag was up, Quintana passed me!" pic.twitter.com/ujDJIlkvha #giro "my red flag was up quintana signalled to us on more than one ocassion to accelerate then he passed us and took off"

    Can Evans win this giro?

It does, but no one would claim Menchov the superior or more decorated rider. 2 Grand Tours v Le Tour and World Champs. I agree though, I can't see Cadel putting in any decent time against Uran, who might really be announcing himself to the world right now as a contender for Froome, Nibali &...

Liege-Bastogne-Liege 2014, most boring monument in the last 10 years?

2011 was way more boring when the Schlecks handed the race to Gilbert on a platter (although they had no hope against him that year). We knew who had the win 7 kms out when they broke away.

    Who wins Giro 2014?

Its definitely going to be an entertaining race. Lacking the big guns, but I'd prefer a mix like we have vs one standout rider who is sure to dominate like Nibali and Contador have in recent years.

    2014 Liege-Bastogne-Liege, 1.UWT (262 Km's)

Being a Gerrans fan I enjoyed last nights race. I didn't mind that it came down to the finish and it was certainly more entertaining than Gilbert v the Schlecks a few years back.

Tour de Wallonie Picarde - 29th September to 2nd October

great to see Robbie doing well!! I don't think its a come back, just some nice results in the twilight of his career. I would love to see him podium in Paris Tours but I just don't think so. hasn't had it against the stronger fields for a while.

Is Fabian Cancellara past his prime?

Is Fabian Cancellara past his prime?

It was a while a go now. One thing I will say is that if it had have been the other way around and Thor had've put in that massive initial attack, Fabian would've sat comfortably on his wheel and then shredded him to bits as soon as he showed the slightest sign of slowing. It was a good...

Is Fabian Cancellara past his prime?

must've been watching a different race to me... he just made it accross in the initial attack and then hung on, did no turns (and rightly so with his teammate up the road) and then when Fabian attacked again later he couldn't follow, even though he'd sucked wheels for the day. my memory may be...

Is Fabian Cancellara past his prime?

That is true, however, I think this year he showed (even though he didn't win) that even when he is heavily marked, he is stronger than any other rider in the peleton from a certain distance out. I think that if he was looked after as the number one rider with a team of riders to support him...

Is Fabian Cancellara past his prime?

I agree. Fabian hasn't passed his prime, he just needs some love. He would be the number 1 rider on most rosters, but instead has to work for the spoilt Schleck boys. I'd be fed up and a little tired as well...
