Dominating Riders of the 2020-2029 decade

Hopefully: Marco Brenner and Alexander Hajek!

    Deutschland Tour 2019 (2.HC)

Yes, we need more riders like Buchmann. He's currently one of the most entertaining and attacking GC riders but whatever  (I guess you only refer to him as a Meintjes-like type of rider because of his last Tour. Which is unfair regarding the Tour itself. And which is even more unfair...

The Marco Brenner is the next Remco Evenepoel thread

Brenner's results this year: Winner of the GP Ticino 13th of Gand-Welvegem (same time as the 4th) Winner of the 2nd race of the Radbundesliga, the Rund um Düren 16th of Paris-Roubaix (same time as the 4th) Winner of the Sachsenringradrennen Winner of the Rund um Schönaich Winner of the...

    Sagan Clean?

Matzka has never been Sagan's teammate (since the Slovak arrived in 2017 and Matzka's contract was ended the year before). (Btw, Matzka is an interesting case. While I'm not really a fan of the way Bora handled the case (I would have prefered earlier transparency), fact is they didn't let him...

    Sagan Clean?

Bora's head of medical is Jan Niklas Droste. It's absolutely no secret...1  And may I ask who is his teammate you're referring to?

    Baby Giro 2019 - Giro d’Italia Giovani Under 23 (13-23.6.)

Re: Perfectly summarized. I'll add to all your perfectly valid points that since so far only Schwarzmann has made it from the juniors team and since Zimmermann is the best climber (or sort of) amongst the current young German rider, there is basically no way he's not going to Bora. No way...

    The Sam Bennett Discussion Thread

Re: Re: It's not as much about supporting a GC rider as offering fair treatment to every rider of the team. Buchmann will be the man for the GC but it doesn't mean that all of a sudden Bora will only consider that goal. Buchmann will be protected, supported. So will be Sagan. And other riders...

    Men's U23 races and talents

Re: The guy is a rare jewel for sure but so far he's just a first-year junior :D He's not yet in the U23 ranks, so he might be a little bit early to compare him to Merckx ;) (But it's probably not too early to say he's the new Remco though :D )

    2019 National Championships

Re: Easier that way ;) I guess it's never easy to find some municipalities willing to host the national championships. And since it's likely the federation is still kind of short of money because of Innsbruck, it was probably even harder this year As a result the solution has been to make the...

    Pascal Ackermann

Ackermann stated before the beginning of the Giro one of his aims here would be to finish it. His current weight is apparently optimal to make him able to survive the mountains. And his crew is here to be around him too. So I'm quite confident he will manage to see Verona ;)

Romandie Hammer Stavanger (....) Likely Rund um Köln Dauphiné (Slovenia?, Irish Nationals?, Österreichrundfahrt? I'd say none of these are likely but it might change in regard of the circumstances and then be added to Bennett's calendar) London BinckBank or Czech Tour Vuelta It should look like...

    The Sam Bennett Discussion Thread

Re: Re: Actually, they are fair to their riders (re what I wrote upper regarding their races calendar ;) ). To justify a change of plans it would have needed an injured or completely out of form Ackermann. Ackermann admittedly doesn't look as great as last year, but still he does the job. Him...

    The Sam Bennett Discussion Thread

Re: Re: Bennett is a very smart sprinter. When he's fully confident in himself, it's beautiful to watch! His spécial is to take the wheel of the sprinter he considers as the main one and to stick to it until time cas come to win. The two perfect examples are his win in the UAE where he decided...

    The Sam Bennett Discussion Thread

Bora is not the kind of team to change their plans. It's rather the full contrary. Plans are decided before the beginning of the season and they stick to them. For exemple, one could wonder why Schachmann isn't riding Tirreno with a perfect course for him, while Formolo or Majka with fewer...

    Transfers and Rumours 2018 > 2019

Re: Re: Depends on what you mean by "valuable" Thankfully, it seems that some people within Bora have still some consideration for the work of worthy teammates (because, you know, teammates are human-beings that are a little more than just replaceable napkins as you tend to suggest).
