We hope all of you have a great holiday season and wonderful Christmas. Thanks so much for being part of the Cycling News community in 2025 and beyond!
Thinking that the weather will play a big part means a break will be clear coming into the finishing circuits and a big peloton of about 60-80 riders will be chasing.I dont hink any countries will burn their matches until the last third of the race considering the wet and falls could be...
Re:
This and the fact Sky kwiakowski chased for henao to finish in some obscure position.great ride by nibali and haig and congrats to Alaphiliipe and quickstep another classic to their names...also good ride by lotto to get a podium..
So with Valverde being the unbackable favourite,it seems movistar will be the only team chasing the breaks ,assuring a small group sprint finish for valverde...Lets hope we dont see other teams chasing(Team Sky)the breakaway all day just to finish with a podium place.i guess time will tell...
No clear favourite this year(besides quickstep team)so many riders have a chance to win.would like to see Wout van aert and Mads Pedersen both finish top 3 but more likely gilbert or Sagan.also hoping Trentin and Demare have solid performances today.cant wait for the start..
Really hoping Wout van Aert can podium in RVV tonight,he has had a great cobbled classics campaign so far.But more likely that Sagan will crush the quicksteppers..
I guess this is referring to my post above Tonton....your right what do i know?its all just a guess right?well since this is a forum then i feel this is a *** race route for the tdf 2018,i might get proven wrong but time will tell?i dont think making the teams only have 8 riders will make any...
Only gave it a 5 ,cause the only stages that i like are stage9,the alpe stage...im happy the teams are down to 8 riders each but also need to have power meters banned and race radio's..i can see the tour being raced negatively until the third week...time will tell i guess? The 65km stage will...
That was a really boring WC,no attacking till the very last lap,to easy acourse(for any decent selection)and predictable top 3..really happy for sagan to win and kristoff and Mathews to get medals but the race disappointed me.Hopefully next year will be a more difficult parcours and we can get...
after watching u23 race ,this worlds will finish in a bunch finish of 40 or so riders......Kristoff/Mathews and sagan will be the top 3(trentin outsider)
