    Vuelta a España Vuelta a España 2025, Stage 13: Cabezón de la Sal – L’Angliru (202.5k)

If Vingegaard is on the limit, then what do people expect him to do? Attack and blow himself up and lose the Vuelta just to show some balls?

Yes, the last thing you'd want a terrorist to bring onto a plane is a tiny electric motor. :tongueout:

Seems like you are dodging my question in order to deliberately miss my point.

    Jonas Vingegaard: Something is Rotten

Roglic started the Tour 2021 as basically an equal favorite with Pogacar, and only crashed after the Tour had started. Vingegaard was there 100% as a domestique, so it makes sense no one was talking about him as a favorite, even though he had finished 2nd in Tour of Basque country, ahead of...

He didn't say he didn't know him though. He said he didn't know him so well, implying that he does know him, just not very well.

Have you ever believed that Indurain used EPO, but then at some point stopped believing it? I'm guessing that's not the case, due to the amount of "circumstantial evidence". It's the same thing with Pogacar. If you're convinced he's doing something illegal, you don't just stop believing that...

When do we admit we were wrong in thinking Indurain used EPO? It's been 30 years now.

Well they were paced there too. My point is I'm not sure there's much of an advantage in riding a MTT compared to a unipuerto stage, where you can get pace for most of the climb.

And today was a unipuerto stage where they were paced by teammates for a big part of the climb. And it's the Tour and not Dauphiné

Armstrong had a couple of positives covered up. If you are not afraid of going over the limit, then you can push closer to it. That was his advantage.

That makes it more suspicious though. You should experience way more fatigue from a grand tour, than 3 minutes of running or pole vaulting, and yet all season, he's as fresh a a pole vaulter.

Why do you think his natural ability increased so much in 2024?

H His fans will say he does have bad days, and then give examples where he finished 2nd, in the same time as the winner.

Yes, and that was a huge performance. Go back and read what people were saying about Vingegaard back then. And yet today Pogi was a lot faster.
