    Widar Wonderkid

No for sure, I agree. He's not in the future GT winner camp, not yet at least. On a different note, I wonder if the hoarder teams (UAE, Red Bull, Visma) will start to lessen the load or expectations on younger riders to avoid burnout. Training and racing like a professional cyclist is a more...

    89th Bretagne Classic - Ouest-France (261km). 31.08.2025

I agree, the balance was that someone like Cosnefroy could win as well as someone like Viviani. Now it's only someone like Cosnefroy, which reduces the intrigue (but might lead to more aggressive racing, who knows).

What kind of gt stages would you like to see more of ?

More flat stages, ideally inland. There have been too few of these this year.

    Widar Wonderkid

No I think Widar was climbing much better than Nordhagen in the road stages. Nordhagen was the 5th best on Stage 5, and was clearly struggling to hang on throughout while Widar only struggled at the bottom of the steep section when Seixas was absolutely hammering it. Obviously Stage 6a wasn't...

    Juan Ayuso discussion thread

Honestly, I'm not sure if UAE will ask for very much .oney. They might even agree to mutually terminate it. The relationship just isn't working out for either party, and UAE aren't short on cash. At most there's an incentive to force another team to pay so they have less to spend on the rest of...

    Vuelta a España Vuelta a España 2025, Stage 8: Monzón – Zaragoza (163.5k)

Have ASO decided that weekend stages just don't matter? Stage 15 is yet another random transition stage in a prime viewing slot. I wonder if could also be why fewer people than normal watched the Tour...

Paul Seixas: Tour de France Winner 2031

He's not Portuguese so he doesn't pronounce it the Portuguese way, just how Ricciardo and Riccitello aren't italian so don't pronounce it the italian way. It isn't hard to get your head around.

Vuelta a España Vuelta a España 2025, Stage 7: Andorra la Vella – Cerler (188.0k)

Yeah it's been a really awful first week of racing and I don't see much hope in it picking up any time soon. Outside of Ayuso + Soler + Vine that is.

Hopefully he retires from the race tomorrow now. Job done.

Imagine what Ayuso could have done in GC if UAE had not forced him to drop ten minutes yesterday to make Almeida the undisputed leader. What a waste

I'm sure they feel really threatened by Pellizzari, Riccitello, Gall, and Hindley.
