I also believe they went after Alberto when he wouldn't lay down to Lance at the Tour. Lance still had a lot of pull at that time and the powers that be would have loved to put him at the top of the podium.

I find it hard to believe anyone thinks they're riding clean , Pog's setting record times , blowing people away without breaking a sweat after easily winning the Giro and Vin comes back from serious injuries with little prep and is clearly the 2nd best rider. I just hope for the riders sake...

i always found that statement hilarious , if it was just ''marginal gains'' at Team Sky Juice it would have taken decades for Froome to go from the nothing rider he was to winnings tours lol

I agree he knew it was in his interests but he also knew a stage in meant much more to other riders than himself . I really miss watching him ride .

were they also chasing down prime Quintana attacks up the mountain then going back to the front of the group all the way to the top like G did in a stage for Froome ? if this wasSky today Pog would have had a dom pacing him to to the last 500 m before he would then breakaway for the win

Alberto had the class to let others also have there day in the sun .

i'm not talking about his Tor win , i'm talking about his time as a super Dom for Froome where i would watch him pace him all the way up the mountain as well as chase down attacks for Froome and then go back to setting a monster pace

i guess you didn't watch the Sky Train in its' peak if you believe this

not even close to how Sky would have 1 or 2 guys pacing or with Froome ALL the way to the top of mountain , not to mention taking a track guy (Thomas) and magically turning him into a mountain goat

hope Pog goes to Spain and completes the Grand Tour hat trick in one season , it would really drive home how little the sport cares about doping at least i don't have to watch half of Sky's team out climb all the other GC contenders mountain after mountain
