What should happen to Sky for getting food on Stage 18?

When things like this have happened in the past haven't team cars been relegated a few places back from where they should be in the following convoy for the next stage as well as the time and monetary penalties.

    Tyson Gay tests positive

I find it a bit intriguing that Dasaolu set that time in the semi final and then didn't compete in the final because of an injury. He didn't look to injured to me how he finished the race.

Teams & Riders Froome Talk Only

Depends which part of the climb you are on. The first 3/4 of it runs in a roughly easterly direction the last 1/4 is in a roughly north westerly direction so if the wind was from the west it would have been a tail wind for more of the climb than it was head wind.

Given around that point of the climb they do about a 150 degree turn that would suggest that for about the first three quarters of the climb they may have had a tail wind.

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

Perhaps at his rest day press conference Froome could find a lake, don a pair of waterskis and jump a shark.

Teams & Riders Froome Talk Only

As someone has already said I've also never seen someone accelerate like that on a climb while staying in the saddle. If I can be bothered later on I might try to see if I can figure out what rpm Froome was doing when he dropped Contador. My guess is possibly 120+

    Is Brailsford tactically inept?

This is spot on. If there was ever a time for a GC team to break a race in crosswinds its when other teams (OPQS and Belkin) have already been working in them and gotten rid of large parts of the field already. Saxo kept their powder dry till they could drive it home to the finish and got their...

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

It wasn't 6 riders from one team towing a group of 15. At some point I saw every rider bar Cav taking a turn at the front so it was actually 14 of the best riders in the world all highly motivated to ride hard that put a minute into them.

    Phil and Paul

Yep it was a brilliant piece of commentating. "And you'll never catch Cavendish at this stage of the race and Marcel Kittel gets three wins at this years tour" He appears to be trying to commentate to a pre ordained script in the finishes at times and when it goes wrong it can look a bit...

    2013 Tour de France, stage 11: Avranches - Mont-Saint-Michelle 33km (ITT)

I think 36 might be a bit optimistic as that would be 55kph. Although someone has mentioned a strengthening tailwind is prediced throughout the day so if Tuft has gone 38 minutes and conditions get better I guess it could be possible.

    2013 Tour de France, stage 11: Avranches - Mont-Saint-Michelle 33km (ITT)

It's 25% for a TT so probably be about 9 minutes today for the time cut.

The Sky-Con-O-Meter. Predictions on how much more ridiculous they can get

Perhaps today gave us a glimpse of next year. 2014 Giro winner Porte 2014 Tour winner Froome 2014 Vuelta winner Kennaugh

Spectators Running Alongside Riders on Climbs

It looked to me like he ran into a sign being held up by a little girl so hopefully it'll teach him to not run alongside riders while not looking whats in front of him

Team Time trials in Grand Tours

I'm in favour of this aswell. I really enjoyed the Team/Individual/Mountain Time Trial at the Tour of the Med a few years back
