    Deceuninck is the reason why Trentin got this close. Sagan was marked, Trentin wasn't. I don't think they'll allow any more Trentin shenanigans though.

    I'm not sure if another green jersey is worth all the effort, i personally thought BORA would give up after stage 11 but it makes the race more exciting so i can't complain.

    Too much pressure for Sagan to score points (more than in previous years considering the situation) meant that he felt like he had to take the risk and go for that gap. Unfortunately it didn't work out and now his fight for green is essentially over.
