We hope all of you have a great holiday season and wonderful Christmas. Thanks so much for being part of the Cycling News community in 2025 and beyond!
He has dissapoint me a lot. He was riding for the 4° place yesterday battling with Zakarin and Pozzovivo. What? This is not a Tour de France podium league.
0 attacks until the last 2/3 kilometers...
Ok, you don't have the legs, but wheres the winner attitude? Try for the stage... try to test...
And where's the David Gaudu Superstar thread? This the appropriate place to talk Champion potential about.
Tour of L'Avenir and Course de la Paix winner. 20 years old neoprofessional rider that improves Pinot power data at his same age and is only 50" far of Contador and Froome on his first WT...
Supercompetitive edition. I rate Costa on a higher level as i've seem him remarkably strong on Utah. Don't see Egan Bernal holding on that pace on the mountains.
Enric Mas is the guy who can posibbly beat Costa on a supertimetrial by him and keeping things on the final stages but that's not...

Between the other contenders Frankiny really lacks on the TT, also i think the swiss is a bit overrated since he's far from the inspiration days...
Re: Re:
That's the fact. Probably as you've pointed he would have won at least one race showing significant progress on the mountains... or maybe not. Maybe the experience and development adquired this year on professional category would've not been the same in the U23 one. For ex. i think...
Re: Re:
Yes is more complete like stage racer, Mas is a TT champion showing very competitive this year on the discipline and De Plus has never won a Time Trial in his life.
De Plus did a great season last year no doubt but he wasnt even close to win a stage race.
At the moment Mas has...
Re:
By the moment anything tells me De Plus is potentially better climber and more interesting prospect than Mas. De Plus is not doing bad at the moment taking into acount he's a neoprofessional rider, but as a gifted climber he has never dominated on the mountains or stage races in any...
