    Wiggins Discussion thread.

apparently only wiggums will be riding the dogma from now on, with early models of pinarello's new domestique machine currently in the trialling phase.

    Kittel Tweet

somebody with twitter want to help marcel out with this phone number? presumably the post-romandie rush will have subsided by now.

Australian Crime Commission investigation finds widespread doping

apologies, that was what appeared on the front page of the website in the linky-dinky to the article, not sure what to call that so called it the headline. and i would also agree that having to be that bulky to lift your bike suggests you could spend your hard-earned more wisely than on...

Australian Crime Commission investigation finds widespread doping

http://www.theage.com.au/sport/riding-hgh-the-costly-pursuit-of-performance-20130209-2e5di.html oh goody. melbourne's more highbrow newspaper, the age, has as it's front page headline "what's wrong with human growth hormone? beach road cyclist asks". it must have been too much for them to...

Australian Crime Commission investigation finds widespread doping

i'm hopeful that this will see folks stop suggesting i crack out a tinfoil hat every time i say that all sports have a doping problem, though knowing the footyfootyfooty mindset, there'll surely be plenty of "nah, they'd never do that" and "well they can't know everything that's being put in...

What constitutes proof that a cyclist/team are doping?

going from my experiences with the general public once they find out that i'm into cycling, it takes the fact that a cyclist is a cyclist to prove to them that a cyclist is doping.

    Doping in other sports?

right in the midst of melbourne's spring racing carnival we get this, following on from the news that at least one of the top jockeys is under investigation for betting against the horse he was riding on and a same-day scratching from the melbourne cup for an illegal treatment on the morning of...

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

with geert leinders gone, wiggins had to resort to self-administered "treatments", and tragically misinterpreted what it meant when the good doctor had said he was gonna "give [him] a hit of aicar". i'l get my coat.

    USADA - Armstrong

first of all, just gotta thank everybody for an utter stonker of a thread, i can't tell you just how immensely i'm enjoying the work in here. secondly, i've been following the thread and the above always seemed to be a very salient point, and i'm taking utterly enormous pleasure in the fact...

    USADA - Armstrong

having watched blatter and his coterie at fifa get away with their most recent "cleansing" i'm rather pessimistic that this will all go the way we all seem to want it to go.

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

presumably it's a defence against clinic-related accusations levelled at their team, as it's getting harder to find a logical defence.

    Di Gregorio

the tinfoil hat wearer in me says that the timing of this is just emperor rupert's ploy to divert attention away from the team sky ****-taking.

Cameron Meyer to take 13+ seconds on Chris Horner in TT & win Tirreno-Adriatico!!!

i became a fan after watching him zigzag after gerrans at the giro in 2009. at about 40 seconds in the video below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKfhWCypz1g

    The Marianne Vos/womens cycling thread

kinda odd that you've been calling "sexist!" pretty loudly in this thread even though the above is probably the most denigrating comment made about what it takes to be a successful female cyclist thus far. perhaps one day a female cyclist will come along who disavows the 5th twinkie between...
