    Col du Galibier and doping

No he wasn't in the jersey on stage 14, but the rumour said that one of the jersey winners (in Paris) was tested positive on stage 14. Contador - Boonen - Soler

    Col du Galibier and doping

ASO announced that they on a press conference would reveal that one of jersey winners was tested positive on stage 14.. Later the same day they told the press that it was a "misunderstanding". But you are right about the fact that I need an evidence.. :)

    Col du Galibier and doping

Exactly. For unknown reasons ASO pulled this disclosure back (blackmailing perhaps), but there is no doubt about the fact that Soler was tested positive on stage 14 in 2007.

    Col du Galibier and doping

I looked at the statistics over the riders who have been the leader at the summit (it hasn't been the finish line every time) on Col du Galibier since 2000 and I found something interesting. Here's the list: 2008: Stefan Schumacher (CERA in 2008) 2007: Mauricio Soler (For some reasons ASO...

    Voeckler doping?

There are a lots of similarities between Rasmussen's performance in 2007 and Voeckler's performance in 2011. None of them were among the favorites before the start - and they both gained a gap on 3-5 minutes as a consequence of that. An average GC rider like Cunego or Danielson wouldn't have...

    Voeckler doping?

At least Lance Armstrong agrees with me (on Twitter).. His chances to win the Tour De France are huge. In my opinion Alberto Contador is the only one who can beat him right now, so it all depends of his shape in the two final mountain stages. If he hasn't progressed from today - Voeckler will...

Join the dots? How dirty is Lotto?

As I see it Vandender's perfomance in the mountains is also a surprise for OPL. He has lost 12 minutes in the flat stages because he has been used to support JVDB and Gilbert, so his current skills must be a surprise for OPL as well.

    Voeckler doping?

If he was an obvious GC rider that year the peloton wouldn't have given him a gap on 5 minutes in the mountain stage to Tignes. They thought it was just his 'usual' ride for a stage victory and they didn't take him seriously at all because of his TT. Exactly like Voeckler. If Leopard Trek knew...

    Voeckler doping?

He was a lot better in 2007 than he was in 2005. In 2005 he used to lose 5-6 minutes on a 50 km TT. In 2007 he did only lose around 1 minute. His time trial before he was on 'a training camp' in Mexico was the primarily reason why Rabobank didn't use Rasmussen as their GC rider.

    Voeckler doping?

Rasmussen has always been a great climber, but never a great time trialist - and suddenly he went in top 10 on the long time trial. in the previous TDF Voeckler wasn't even in the top 100 on the two Time trials, so if he goes in top 10 it will be a obvious sign of doping..

    Voeckler doping?

Voeckler's perfomance reminds of Michael Rasmussen's performance in 2007. An average GC rider, who suddenly is untouchable. It wouldn't surprise me if he also goes in top 10 in Grenoble, even though he usually is terrible in time trials.. Roundabout: I was wondering.. Who is the rider on your...
