    Stage 19: Friday, May 25: Treviso-Alpe di Pampeago. 198km

Yeah - you're probably closer to the truth. There were obviously reasons for Sella's "form" a few years ago but you're right he seems to be totally useless since his return.

That's true but it's no good waiting until tomorrow to see if Hesjedal cracks.

Yeah the likes of Sella, Casar, Rohregger and Garate may have enough to hold off. I doubt it though if Liquigas are burning it up the Pampeago the first time around the gap will probably get shut down. I'd say the leaders will need maybe 6 minutes at the bottom to have any chance of hanging on.

    Giro d'Italia Stage 16, Limone sul Garda - Falzes/Pfalzen, 174km, 22/05/2012

I'd say Lagutin dropped off himself - only 10 mins down on GC so too dangerous to let go. After the fast early pace and the break getting away so late it looks like one of these will be winning. I'll go with Frank FTW.

    Giro d'Italia Stage 16, Limone sul Garda - Falzes/Pfalzen, 174km, 22/05/2012

It looks like that group minus Lagutin wasn't actually caught and are now 2'30" ahead

Commentary on TNT and other WB brands

I think that's a bit harsh. He's generally commentating for "newcomers" to cycling and although English is the default language for European Eurosport he is also commentating on British Eurosport so the bias towards Sky (the main British team) and Anglophone riders is understandable. I'd be...

    2012 Giro d'Italia; May 16th; Stage 11: Assisi - Montecatini Terme (255km)

The rain probably plays into their hands a bit. I'm sure it's easier to be motivated when cold and wet in a breakaway than being asked to chase for your sprinter who will probably crash anyway! :p

    The Cycling Betting Thread

Thanks, That seems to make sense. Ferrari placed in 186th or whatever is the official result. Pinnacle have actually resettled my bet now on request. I see William Hill have started copying Bet365s match bet odds - that must be pretty frustrating setting up matches each day only for other...

    The Cycling Betting Thread

I'm too lazy to check all the companies rules but does anyone know how the Ferrari v Chicchi match bet was settled with various bookmakers today? Or any others involving Ferrari. I know a few companies had that particular one up as I backed Ferrari with Pinnacle this morning. It was settled as a...

    2012 Giro d'Italia CQ game

Just to be clear - once the race starts you can't change your team (or to be more precise after 9AM on Saturday morning). This is the first time I've entered a cycling fantasy game so am looking forward to the added interest! :)
