    Contador vs. Froome

Re: Re: I'm talking about pure talent. Froome came out of nowhere. Look at the names mentioned by me earlier. Fanboy? Are you talking about yourself? By the way, Wiggins, obviously, is on that list. Did you, finally, get the point?

    Contador vs. Froome

Re: Re: Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. Froome, in my opinion, isn't in that category. I'll leave it at that. The unique talent of the riders mentioned by me earlier is undisputable. I'm talking about real riders.

    Contador vs. Froome

Re: Re: Just for the record... Bettini, Van Avermaet, McEwen, Bennati, Greipel, Evans, Sastre and many others are also on this list...

    Contador vs. Froome

Re: Re: Contador is a rare talent. Riders like him, Boonen, Hushovd, Freire, Cavendish, Petacchi, Cancellara, Devolder, Gilbert, Pozzato, Ballan, Valverde, Cunego, Andy Schleck, Basso, Menchov, di Luca, Sami or Purito define a generation.

    Contador vs. Froome

The winner of this year's Tour has to born again to have just 1/10 of Contador's talent. 1/10. It's that simple. Case closed.

Greg is another good example - but he is not Gilbert-material. Look at Gilbert's palmarés. Imagine If he manages to win Milano-Sanremo and Paris-Roubaix - and we all know he has the legs to do so....

Really insane... In terms of pure talent and versatility, only Gilbert, Boasson-Hagen and Kwiatowski are close to him...

Re: Re: In his view the preperation was perfect. However, I disagree. It's a sum of situations - the crashes, etc... and in the end, he didn't have the legs do what he had to do.

The crashes are killing him in the Tour... It's unbelieavable.

He has the legs to win another grand tour. Obviously, he has to be fresh. He is in this 30s. The 2018 Giro should be his main goal.

I don't think he will retire after a disappointing Tour. He will try to win the Giro one last time.
