I am impressed! I stated my opinion about Remco and the way he race and you twisted that to be a post about Pogi versue Remco. You know, I can have an opinion about Remco without mentioning Pogi. I am a remarkable old man....:D

I like the way Remco rides, he is an ITT monster, and just like he says himself You need Big Balls! :D Had he wheelsucked Amstel he would never make it up to Pogi in the first place, he gave himself the chance to win, nothing else. You win some and loose some. I hope he never change how he rides...

If IPT has got the final say and they say No. Will Gee retire or just cruise for 3 years?? You need strong motivation to go out and perform at your best level day after day, both in races and in training. I sure hope they can work out a good solution for all parts.

I think you missed the point with my post, 75% was not the important number at all...;) I just wanted to highlight a probelm with comparing today with Merckx Era, what was allowed back then isnt allowed today. If Pogacar does what Merckx did he will get banned for life.

Well to follow your logic, if Pogacar wants to become GOAT he needs 75% of the wins and other things to beat Merckx. The magical number then is 2 as Merckx got 3 right?

If he doesnt like the atmosphere in UAE he should choose another team of course. A lot of contracts nowadays, soccer, Ice hockey and other sports include a buy out part. I wouldnt be to surprised if Pogacar has that too, only problem would be to find someone rich enough to buy him out I guess...

Well, I have done my share of crashing and to be honest, I did not expect Pogacar to be able to fight for the win this year due to the crash. Not to exaggerate but that crash probably took at least 5% from his level. It would have taken 100% out of my shape , no question about it.

I am not really a fan of this discussion but Yes Pogacar showed Determination to win those stages AFTER the heavy crash the days before. I have crashed myself and that has taken a whole lot out of me. I root for Uno-X though so I will keep quiet about the cause of the accident...'lol'

Indeed, I just made a guess after reading THJ own message that was linked earlier that he gave Pogacar an apology, as I said I am Probably wrong , no hard feelings I hope ....
