Thanks! that seems good advice. To be honest I have little idea just how the camera works , I press a different button in error starting up various screens and I have to switch on / off to get back to what I am familiar with. I was brought up with film cameras that only had one button!

Snow is rather rare here too, Odie loves the snow he was so excited that he rushed out spinning around like a top. On our wander he just ran back and forth much further than myself. Bless your tiny Tandy , sounds as though she did not have the best start. Hope she realises how fortunate she is...

'] That really is a comprehensive list of of dog types that you have cared for too! I love all the different varieties , occasionally I have helped out at the local dog shelter and it's amazing just how much dogs are pleased to see you on arrival. I'm not much of a photographer I know my...

Power of the ego! Some folk are happier when their pet is bigger , tougher or rarer than others. We all have our own idea of what makes a good pet. For myself a dog is perfect, a companion that responds well with interaction. Cats I find too aloof. I do have affection for snakes, lizards and...

There is Odie running happily on our wander , he is a good runner, much faster than myself! Before Odie dogs in my home were taken in by myself from friends when owners were on holiday or looking to rehome their dog . Thinking back at the dogs I have cared for roughly in chronological order, a...

'] Last year leaving my home I spotted a 'toy' lizard roadside, then it moved! Curiously I picked it up , thought, this is not the place for you buddy, popped it under my top and took it home. Not having means to take care of it I took it to the local exotique pet store , they told me it...

Pointless! but if one owns an ironing board when would it be used when all spare time is spent riding ones bike or at races?

    Doping In Athletics

While the enhanced games may be a 'clown show'' what can USADA do presumably enhanced games athletes are not signed up to WADA rules? As long as products/methods employed are legal where competition takes place let the enhanced games proceed, I can't imagine any major networks will host or many...

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ryab_hafcmk It seems as though dogs doing handstands to pee is not so uncommon, great to see Tandy, I would post further pic of Odie but I'm still struggling even after trying a couple of hosting sites. As to favourite rider I would say Laurens Sweeck or...

Don't think I could post pic if I wished today I tried posting pic of Odie but for some reason it would not work? Video below has a bit part by the poodle though, his owner is a really lovely woman and a bit of a singer. During lockdown when people could not venture out she would bring her...

No it was a complete surprise! I spoke with Odie's previous owner today and she said 'ask Odie for your shoes and he will collect them ready for walkies!' Trouble is my footwear is lined up so Odie could become confused which to bring Great to hear about your Tandy and how she is now in safe...

Here in UK dogs are given a number of chances depending upon the seriousness of the attack, sadly in recent times there have been too many fatalities . Often when owners think their giant size dogs would not hurt anyone, until it happens. Riding my bike I have received minor bites many times...

I like cows, come spring and I divert my rides/hikes to pass farms where I can see the lovely young calves. However they are such beasts, riding my MTB through a field a whole bunch came trotting over . I showed my true colours dropping the bike and seeking shelter behind a dry stone wall...
