    Junior gear restrictions

I agree to disagree. Though we can agree that closed minds are fun. I think your kids should have a fantastic career on Wall Street or your national equivalent...

    2013 Tour of Alberta, 3rd - 8th September (2.1)

Yes, and the government keeps harpering on how great it is! ... but this is Alberta, and anything that isn't measured in barrels or tonnes-of-tarsand is a bit difficult for them. What I'm trying to say is that time is measured in geological units...

    Junior gear restrictions

Weighing in late here, but some thoughts. 1. What, you want someone to do a controlled experiment on a couple of groups of kids for several years and then track the results into their old age? Never going to happen in a responsible country or environment. If it did, the naysayers would...

    2013 Giro d'Italia, Stage 21: Riese Pio X - Brescia (197 km)

NO. He and O-P and Astana and organizers and people on radios browbeat the whole da@n peleton or peloton to bow before his wishes about 3 times, and semi-contested 1. What a farce. After cancellation of Stage 19, I figure the organizers and racers and teams and sponsors (did I leave anyone...

    best descender

A bit too many matches burned accelerating out of all the curves; paid for in the end. Still, it was a good chance and he took it well but with a bit too much belief in his own legend. If he had been 5 seconds slower on the descent, he might have had enough left in his legs to hold off...

    Liège - Bastogne - Liège : Sunday April 22th 201é

Oh god, don't tell me we're going to have another year of "Niballi/ Iglinsky should have waited!" :p Kidding. Cunego is too much a real racer for that!

Psychologically put off by the "Andersen not for the Tour" announcement? (note to The Hog: way to psych out your own riders, twit!)

    Schlecks Depreciation Thread

Seems to me Andy's just mad that no one took his attack seriously (which says volumes about how his threat is viewed by them). Only two teams bothered to mark him eventually, and there didn't seem to be that much concern at the head of the peloton.

I'd like to Appreciate Andy's driving in Switzerland yesterday. Can someone check his official whereabouts? :( Suddenly he's starting to look good for the Tour. .............What the heck was in my coffee??............

    Paris-Roubaix 2012 - The Queen of the Classics (257.5km)

Disappointed Terpstra didn't make the podium , and delighted that Turgot did. I love it when a group gets so caught up in their little sprint world of saving their energy, that they get overtaken and beaten at the line by a following group (pair).

    Andy Schleck Discussion thread.

Interesting (but depressing!, as I am probably a frequent complainer in the eyes of my acquaintances):o But perhaps it is just that people who live longer have more to complain about??seeing the same old c**p come round again and again, the human race learning zero lessons from experience:mad:.

    Omqs

Exactly. Apart from poor manpower useage by Sky, it's like everyone thought "Only Cancellara could do a long break, so no point chasing hard because Boonen is sure to fail." I think it was significant that Boonen's lead increased only on the cobbled sections (or at least so it seemed to me)...
