With the marginal gains protocol you can hold the peak indefinitely. In reality, until your kidneys and liver fail, but who cares about the long term health effects of the new PED when you're taking off like a rocket now? Why come off?

Alberto is in 2013 shape right now. Whether he's going to be able to improve from that or not is what's going to make him a legend, or not. If he loses the Giro the season't over.

Re: Re: Two thumbs up. My brother has sports-induced asthma and whenever we ride and he gets what he calls "a squeeze" he has to stop, puff up, catch his breath, rest for two minutes or so, and then go. How Froome is able to puff up and then accelerate like he does is a mystery to my brother...

It amazes me how much of the Lance legacy is still with us. I've never seen or heard a champion being questioned or doubted the way Alberto is. I mean, the guy has won pretty much everything there is to win, and some of the press still present him as a sort of an amateurish hothead who can't...

To me it looks and sounds like Alberto just wants to concentrate on the TdF this year. He's a tad overweight and his form is a bit off... Me thinks he wants to pull a Lance this year.
