if the map is correct we won't see manse on stage to gap and toussuire finish looks strange. also sjdm finish after glandon is waste. there are lot of dh finishes which are better

maybe i missed the number but in my mind it is sprint up the cauberg. MSR is 298 k and it was sprint for few years, but last years it isn't and organisers are well aware that it can become for sprinters and route change is on their mind(finish near bottom of poggio)

Excellent race. Cancellara was certainly not on his best but he won. Stybar impressive but only while wheelsucking, when he lost contact not enough strength to get back to leading two. I hope next year we finally have both boonen and canc in the race, together with this youngsters it could be...

well as far as i can see the mountain stages are not so bad, i would like romme-colombiere more and of course le mont du chat, that would be very good surprise. For other stages we have 3rd stage to calvi promising, than in marseille stage we will have climb of 2.5 km late, albi total waste...

more that i am watching this route, one thing is obvious. If some speculations are right on stage to bellegarde we have grand colombier to destroy the field, then biche which is hard climb and easy one. To toussuire there are madeleine, croix de fer and then not such a hard climb to toussuire...

if this route is true, it really sucks. Thera has to be at least 2 more mountain stages for this to be good route. One to pierre st. martin that is rumoured + another hard one. looking forward to giro

what i'm looking forward is stage to st fluor, classic like, it's long, before big mountains which means that big breakaways won't be allowed and if some team pulls hard at front on these 4 back to back climbs that have big percentages and then with 50 to go when peloton is splitted to 30-40...

And one more thing, if gilbert decided to ride giro he would win all of this stages with final climb, gatto, strade bianche, gadret...and would win it very easily. In the tour there is much bigger chance that he won't win because of the class. Put contador out of giro, the margins were little...

That is called racing class, in other races that things can happen because there is no depth in peloton, and teams cannot do that. Look the rosters for the tour and for other races, the difference is huge.

What for me is the most important is list of riders. They are one who will make racing interesant. I'm only missing maybe one more 30 k time trial and finish on steep slope like mont du chat or granon. We will have 10 classics specialists and if there is way to beat gilbert, they would find it...
