Not really. She probably has a longer career in cycling than you, even before meeting Jonas she was a communications manager at ColoQuick, so she has been behind the scenes for at least 10 years. But she should have weighted her words more wisely, sure.

Jonas is riding like this because he has so few race days, and he needs to keep the shape in prime condition. He cannot afford, form wise, to slip into a calm and relaxed setting, because his body might react negative to it. Remco is not there mentally. It's too bad.

Tour de France Tour de France 2025, Stage 1: Lille – Lille (184.9k)

Weather report says wind from W/SW when the peloton turns North from Lens. Will be interesting whether it impacts the result. Wouldn't be surprised by a major crash and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Roglic goes down in it. Will be a chaotic stage, historically when starting in France, its...

Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

One thing I often recall is that Jonas' shape last year was shaped by his injuries, but he still seconded the race. Jonas has Pog's number. Besided that I think Pog has peaked too early. I truly believe it will be a walk in the park for Visma this year. It will not even be a close matchup.

Tour de France 2025 route rumours and announcements

Just realized Mikkel Bjerg is not riding TdF. Between him, Wellens and Politt I believe he would make a difference. Pound for Pound, Team Visma looks stronger this year.

Benoot rumoured to L'Oréal Decathlon right? Not sure if the rumors holds? But the guy is stellar.

    Tour de Suisse 2025 - Men's (June 15- June 22)

I was having the same thought. The only downside to Switzerland is that it is more expensive than the neighbouring countries, so I would not do a biking trip there like I would in Italy or Austria for that matter. But beautiful, yes!

Thanks for this. That brings me to the presentation of Dr. Millan. "Trainer. He is also a professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine where he does clinical and research work in cellular metabolism, especially in diabetes, cardiometabolic disease and cancer." -...

Mechanics ? Tools ? They ride them through a portable x-ray scanner in a back of truck. That's at least how it's done today.

I feel more insulted by Froome. And his wife.

    Critérium du Dauphiné 2025, June 8 - 15

The tension over a week is a one sided affair. That is what I saw at least. As for Pog, to me it looked like he rode this race with two fingers in the nose while laughing at the competition. Seriously, it looked to me that he was in peak shape. Now, that might not be the case in a 3 week GT...

    Question Is Chris Froome cleans?

There is some truth to this story I believe. I do not for one minute believe his crash was so bad he lost all the power. Absolutely not. As for the UCI, it's an interesting point, because like others has mention just as myself, the money flowing into cycling is making UCI and all sponsors...

No doubt, the 7.5kg limit can absolutely be put down. But I still haven't seen any engine design on a low weight scale. For the inspections, it's a fairly low hanging fruit to scan the top 10-15 riders bikes. Nothing to it really. FIA has great inspection policies, UCI should as well...

I don't buy the motor doping story. I have never seen a hub or a crank where a possible engine is at such a low weight that it would make sense to fit it in. Can anyone provide a link where such a device exists and perhaps weighs around 500gr (that would mean shaving off 500gr elsewhere on an...
