Teams & Riders Cian Uijtdebroeks - From the wetlands to the top of cycling

I feel sorry for the bloke, because he looked promising stepping into the WT. But there was something off at Bora, and then all the mischief at Visma - alongside pretty much every team member in '24 - has not done him any good. Did you forget how poor Visma was last year ? Everyone was sick. La...

Good place for Ayuso. No one to fight with over GT, and Mads and Milan has totally different race seasons. I think its a fine match really.

    World Championship 2025: Men’s ITT, September 21

The real question is whether Pog will do good on Sunday. And what it means ? Should he top 5 ? Top 10 ? If he doesn't then what ? Is he then fatigued or something else ? Long season might be taking a toll.

    UAE-Team Emirates thread

Team Visma Lease A Palestine has finally found a weapon to win GT's. Can't wait to the tour 2026 and see which group they've hired then.

    Juan Ayuso discussion thread

I imagine him signing with Movistar and then be forgotten in a few years. He doesn't have the head for this on the large scene.

Vuelta a España Vuelta a España 2025, Stage 3: San Maurizio Canavese – Ceres (134.6k)

Was reading about the theft of Visma LB and thought, why in the world are staff not taking turns to sleep in the trucks ? Even better, organizers should make sure police is around every team, it must be doable. What a mess.

    Tour de France Tour de France 2025, Stage 2: Lauwin-Planque – Boulogne-sur-Mer (209.1k)

Not really. She probably has a longer career in cycling than you, even before meeting Jonas she was a communications manager at ColoQuick, so she has been behind the scenes for at least 10 years. But she should have weighted her words more wisely, sure.

    Tour de France Tour de France 2025, Stage 2: Lauwin-Planque – Boulogne-sur-Mer (209.1k)

Jonas is riding like this because he has so few race days, and he needs to keep the shape in prime condition. He cannot afford, form wise, to slip into a calm and relaxed setting, because his body might react negative to it. Remco is not there mentally. It's too bad.

Tour de France Tour de France 2025, Stage 1: Lille – Lille (184.9k)

Weather report says wind from W/SW when the peloton turns North from Lens. Will be interesting whether it impacts the result. Wouldn't be surprised by a major crash and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Roglic goes down in it. Will be a chaotic stage, historically when starting in France, its...

Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

One thing I often recall is that Jonas' shape last year was shaped by his injuries, but he still seconded the race. Jonas has Pog's number. Besided that I think Pog has peaked too early. I truly believe it will be a walk in the park for Visma this year. It will not even be a close matchup.

Tour de France 2025 route rumours and announcements

Just realized Mikkel Bjerg is not riding TdF. Between him, Wellens and Politt I believe he would make a difference. Pound for Pound, Team Visma looks stronger this year.

Benoot rumoured to L'Oréal Decathlon right? Not sure if the rumors holds? But the guy is stellar.

    Tour de Suisse 2025 - Men's (June 15- June 22)

I was having the same thought. The only downside to Switzerland is that it is more expensive than the neighbouring countries, so I would not do a biking trip there like I would in Italy or Austria for that matter. But beautiful, yes!

    Tadej Pogacar and Mauro Giannetti

Thanks for this. That brings me to the presentation of Dr. Millan. "Trainer. He is also a professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine where he does clinical and research work in cellular metabolism, especially in diabetes, cardiometabolic disease and cancer." -...
