Could it be the case that Froome has managed to replicate his "dodgy kidney" story during his "Tour of South Africa" and is now satisfied he can return to cycling, knowing he will be exonerated in a few days/weeks??

I didn't know that the bikes were tagged and these "strip down" tests are being carried out. Not disputing that but have you evidence of such tests being carried out or evidence that these tests are being done. The nature of the tests you stated seems at variance with an article in CycleTips...

How would you account for him having such poor results "pre bilharzia". Surely if he had the pedigree of a multiple tour champion he should have had some decent results through his earlier career (Atomic Jock race aside). Further note, that with their interview with Kimmage, Michelle Cound...

Re: Re: There doesn't have to be any scandal. UCI says from x date we will check the bikes as you have described and anything suspicious will be investigated and punishments enforced. Any team or rider willing to risk it would be crazy where as now it is a free for all.

Re: Excellent post and may I add... Not subject to retest, once you get away with it and nobody sings like a canary you're home free... The funny thing is, it should be the easiest tests of them all, x amount of bikes, including stage winner, GC leader and random x bikes are stripped down...
