Horner. He gets bonus points for his victory speech. :D

    Podium behaviour poll

I voted number two, but honestly, some of these posts made me giggle. Great jobs with the photo-shopping! Seriously, though, it has been waaaay too long since I've seen a women's pro cycling podium--on TV or in person--which sets me to wondering: Does women's cycling have podium "boys"? If...

Who would you most like to see get exposed or confess to being a doper?

Cancellara Horner Kloeden (officially) Hmmmm, all Shackers. Coincidence? Probably not.

Official Lance Armstrong Thread: Part 3 (Post-Confession)

Ewww, my eyeballs were burned by yet another image of Wonderboy's shirtless torso on that Texas Monthly cover. I had hoped we were done with those! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2292248/Lance-Armstrong-Im-like-Bill-Clinton-people-forgive-me.html I am the resurrection.

Christophe Bassons, SI Sportsman of the Year ?

Sports Illustrated's editors HATE cycling and pretty much refuse to cover it in any meaningful way.

    Armstrong Under Criminal Investigation

This is what I have been asking about for weeks! And at that time, I was informed by a prominent Clinician that the case had been shelved and that if there were to be any further investigation, I would read about it here first. Well, thank you, good ole mainstream media, ABC News! Courtesy of...

The Tour de Oprah (WT) (1 team of 1 rider) Live Thread

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I loved this cartoon from the Atlanta Constitution's Pulitzer prize-winning cartoonist, Mike Luckovich... http://blogs.ajc.com/mike-luckovich/files/2013/01/011813-toon-luckovich-ed.jpg

Official Lance Armstrong Thread: Part 3 (Post-Confession)

On "CBS This Morning," Charlie Rose quoted Oprah making that statement (and Oprah's good buddy, Gayle King confirmed it). I could not believe what I was hearing. http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=50139479n

Jail time for Lance? Thoughts peeps?

Well, THAT is outrageous--especially shelving the witness tampering aspect, as we know that at least 2 grand jury witnesses were threatened directly by Lance. Nothing anonymous about THOSE threats. And that's a criminal offense. Thanks for the info, Benotti. Good to know.

Jail time for Lance? Thoughts peeps?

Does anybody know what's up with the alleged FBI investigation into allegations of death threats and potential witness tampering that Tygart referred to in his interview with Scott Pelley on 60 Minutes Sports? TT told Scott he had turned the anonymous threats he received over to the FBI and...

No love lost for Lance - media reacts

OMG, that interview with Sally Jenkins is just nauseating. I have just about had it. And she calls herself a journalist? This bit here really did it for me: "For better or worse, our greatest cancer fighter happens to be a guy who also took some chances with his health. And that’s an...

Lance appearing on Oprah next week

It is no coincidence that this Oprah "confession" is announced the same day as the lead story on tonight's premier of the new "60 Minutes Sports" is...Lance. I mean, have y'all seen the clips CBS has been airing of Tygart talking about death threats? Powerful stuff. Must-see TV...

    Media amnesia and reactions

Did anybody else catch Ray Suarez's interview with Bill Strickland last night on Public Broadcasting's "News Hour"? Pretty appalling. Among other gems, he kept up the "never failed a test" line. Here's the video & full transcript...

    Phil and Paul
